Balancing act!
Life is a balancing act. Especially in this day when everything is so tightly scheduled. We communicate in so many ways, but they are usually short messages letting our friends and family know we’re still here and thinking of them. I don’t remember the last time I wrote or received a really long letter. Now, it’s quicker and easier to dash off an email, get right to the point, and move on to the next project. I just realized, I have been a book snob. Who knew? Reading is one of my FAVORITE things, and I read most every genre, by new and well know authors. Magazines and journals are fun to read, too, but I’ve been all about the BOOK. Let me explain. My husband loves magazines and reads the occasional book. My son loves artsy magazines, graphic novels, comics and also reads the occasional book. I devour a book a week (or more).
