There’s a list of discussion questions on this web page for book clubs that have chosen Feisty Family Values for reading. I would love to visit with your group after you’ve read it and answer any questions you might have.

Does your professional organization support the arts? I would be happy to speak to your group about the writing process and what it takes to get published these days. It is a bit daunting, to be sure, but I’ll share my experience and hope it will help those of you interesting in a writing profession.

I really love to visit bookstores and libraries. Book people are great. It’s fun talking about our favorite books and stories.

I’ll be doing a book signing of Feisty Family Values on Saturday, December 11, from 1:00-3:00 PM at Border’s Books West, 21st & Maize Rd., Wichita. If you’ve purchased a book and would like it signed – come on by. If you need to purchase a copy and would like it autographed – stop by. If you’re bored and want to keep me company, I hope I’ll see you there. I’ll be the one holding the very attractive book and grinning at everyone.

For you guys out there that are looking for Christmas ideas for your wife, sister, mother, adult daughter, aunt or female coworker – Feisty Family Values is a great gift! It was a finalist of the USA Book News “Best Books of 2010″ awards, and has gotten nothing but rave reviews from readers. Several readers have said they’ve read it more than once and it’s only been out since February. How cool is that? I think it’s awesome.

Do come by and visit me Dec. 11th at Border’s West. I’d love to see you there!

November 11th is tomorrow and I’m stunned how quickly this past 8 months have gone since FEISTY FAMILY VALUES was released. I’ll be at Watermark to read, discuss and sign copies. If you haven’t read it yet, I hope you will come and find out what it is about. If you have read it, I hope you’ll come and join the discussion. If you’re a writer, then come by and I’ll gladly answer your questions regarding the journey to publishing. Watermark is a great place, so come hang out and absorb the atmosphere.

Prairie Book Festival

From 10:00 AM to 4 PM several Kansas authors will be speaking at the Prairie Book Festival at the Hutchinson Public Library, 901 Main St., Hutchinson, KS.
