Check out Active Aging for July and my article on the Galaxy of Stars Senior Services event.  It’s sure to be a night of high society and humor with Rene Stevens and Brett Harris as roast-er and roast-ee.   Tuxedos are optional, but I’m guessing there will be some in the crowd.  And no doubt the ladies will be the epitome of glamor.  The details are in the article and on the Senior Services web site.

You’ll read all about “summer learning” programs in my Womens Focus article, that will keep our kids on the top of the learning tree.  Don’t miss the opportunities available this summer at the Wichita Public Library, the Sedgwick County Zoo, Exploration Place, and many more.  Studies show that kids who don’t do a little reading, spelling, or math in the summer can lose as much as one grade in their skill levels.  Don’t let them veg away the summer, keep their minds and bodies healthy!
