Wichita, KS – The Barnes & Noble at Bradley Fair located at 1920 N. Rock Road will host a book signing with 5 authors at their Summer Saturday Book Signing event on Saturday, June 12th, from 2:00-5:00 pm. Come find the perfect summer read and meet authors Wendy Elmquist, Candice Gilmer, Marion Moore Hill, Michelle Pillow, and B.D. Tharp. The authors will be available to chat with customers and sign copies of their books. The books are available at the Barnes & Noble in Bradley Fair in Wichita and at www.bn.com.
Wendy Elmquist is the author of Family Prescription: A History of a Family (Softcover, $15.99, Tate Publishing, ISBN#9781615664634). The book is part family history and part first-hand account of the author’s descent and recovery from an obsessive addiction with prescription drugs that nearly ruined her life, as well as her family. Wendy lives in Newton, Kansas, with her husband of 34 years and a close circle of family and friends.
Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life: she is a mom and a writer during the day, and a hairdresser at night. She is the author of the ‘Moonlight and Shadows’ romance series and Fantasy Girl. B.D. Tharp is a lifetime resident of Kansas and is the former president of the Kansas Writers Association. She has written over a hundred articles for various magazines and newspapers, and has received awards on a local, state and national level for short stories, children’s picture books and playwriting.
