This month has passed so quickly that I can hardly believe it.  I’m off next week and plan to spend some quality time finishing up the first draft of my new novel Patchwork Family (the follow up to Feisty Family Values).  The day job has been hopping, what with month end, year end, and new year forecasting.  Whew. I can use a break, but I’ll have to pop in to check on things next week. 

It’s been a full year, filled with good friends and a growing family (my niece had a baby girl).  We’ve had our share of tough times, but looking forward to new opportunities in 2010.  I’ve never promoted and sold a book before, so that’s going to be a big part of the coming year.  I’m looking forward to meeting new readers and book store owners, and sharing the Feisty Family Values story.  It’s exciting and scary and the experience will without a doubt keep me on the move.
